Alison Aitkin leaves her home in Brighton, visiting family over in
Dublin. Little does she know that this trip will begin a chain of
life-changing events for her and many others.
Meanwhile, in the small Irish town of Granard, music club owner Gerry Percival is busily trying to arrange his yearly 'Battle of The Bands' competition, but encounters trouble in the form of local hardman Joey Miller. Joey's obsession with winning this prestigious event knows no bounds, providing Gerry with huge problems.
